Introduction
Hot Psychology Magazine, originally developed in 2004 and “live” as of January of 2005, was designed with the purpose of discussing those social and psychological issues that only we as humans experience. These issues; ranging from stress, anxiety, mental health and relationships to love and sex, finance, emotional well-being, behavioral and self-reflection and assistance to name a few, are addressed from a wide range of relevant sections such as Business & Finance, Culture, Sex, and News and Views, and utilizing some of the most talented editors and writers across the country.
We aren’t a clinical publication as such, though we do have licensed therapists and PhD’s writing and/or editing for us. Instead, we merely put into words the thoughts and feelings that most, if not all, of us have experienced at some point in our lives. Consider us “your human interest magazine” specializing in the issues that are truly of interest to all of us. Given the wide range of writers and editors who perform their magic for us, we believe we have some experience in that regard.
Though we are a magazine in every sense of the word, where we differ from those that grace newsstands and magazine racks is that we are currently only available as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. This serves two purposes: first, it allows our magazine to be read from any electronic device; this includes laptops, PDA’s, “regular” computers and ultimately cell phones (at least those with the capacity to ready PDF’s). Customers can read our insightful articles at their PC at work, on their PDA on the commute back and forth from work, or even as a print out from their home computers. Secondly, remaining as a downloadable PDF file keeps overhead costs down enabling profits to flow back into making Hot Psychology Magazine even better.
Demographics
The target audience for Hot Psychology Magazine is less about age and more about mindset. We believe that people from any age group across the country or even internationally who are interested in seeing their thoughts, emotions and opinions voiced in a medium like this would find interest in our publication. We’re a magazine with an interest in “everyman.” Sometimes we’re objective and sometimes we add opinions of our own but that, we believe, is what is so appealing about us – particularly since our readers can occasionally be just as subjective.
